Tyrhi Keonne McCray was born on March 14, 2000 at Crozer Chester Medical Center to Keyonna McCray and James Rice Sr. He departed this life on December 31, 2021 in Chester Pa.
Tryhi was educated in the Chester Upland School District. He graduated from Chester High School class of 2018.
He was known for his affectionate smile, and his bright and mesmerizing eyes. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend. He was very overprotective of the females in his family, laying down the law to them every opportunity he had. Tyrhi took charge and knew he was the boss. He played football for the Chester Panthers in his youth, proudly sporting the number #33. Tyrhi was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tyrhi is predeceased by his sister Tyazha McCray his maternal grandmother Deborah McCray and his paternal great grandmother; Frances Barbara Glasgow. Tyrhi’s mother Keyonna Mcray suddenly passed away on January 5, 2022, she is now reunited with both of her loving children in heaven.
He leaves to cherish his memories his father James Rice Sr, five brothers; Tyler McCray, James Rice Jr, Keyon Powell, Jamai Frisby-Rice and Jawaun Frisby-Rice, four sisters; Rasheta Frisby-Rice, Maryea Rice, Janiya Rice and Tyonna McCray, one step brother; Dennis Anderson, one step sister; Daysha Bentley, paternal grandmother; Barbara Calm (Bill), paternal grandfather; Robert Rice, maternal grandfather; Wilbert Jarrett Sr, maternal great grandfather; Darnell Cole, three uncles; Robert Edwards, Wilbert Jarrett (Raynell) and Jamar McCray, two aunts; Shemeika Rice and Lashelle McCray, two nieces; Ryleigh Frisby-Sheridan and Julanni Mobley-Sharpe, two nephews; Keyon Powell Jr. and Derrick Carroll. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of cousins, family and friends.
