Thomas Francis Finley Jr was born October 25, 1939 to Charlotte Draper Finley and Thomas Francis Finley Sr. Thomas was affectionately know as Tommy, Finn and Red Man. He was the first child out of ten children. Educated in Rose Tree Media School District. Tommy graduated from the first graduating class of Penn Crest High School. Tommy was an Ace around Athlete. Most valuable player in little league Baseball “The Media Optimist and Batted an Average 650 and no one would ever surpass his record. In 1964-1968 Tommy served in the USA Navy and was honorable discharged. He went to work at General Motors and fulfilled his life career cross country driving with FEE & Aamed trucking companies. Tommy and his driving partner would leave from here and travel to California in record time without stopping these two characters would switch drivers at 70 miles an hour. Tommy was a tennis player and pool shooter he would frequent Sporty's Pool Hall Chester and participate in the Pool Xile going to various bars in Chester playing teams. Tommy the Red Rooster was well known at talking big trash. He had his own Grass Cutting Business that he purchased from Lee Graves and had four employees working for him. Tommy was most definitely the life of parties. Tommy departed this life on April 17, 2025 at Belvedere Nursing Home where he spent his remaining years living. He will be dearly missed leaving to treasure his memory, three children, his sister Edith Murray, his brother Van G Finley, numerous grand children, great grand children, nephews, nieces, cousins and specials friends.
