Susie May Leviner

Susie May Leviner was born on October 31st, 1936 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, to the late Mary Armfield Leviner and Jessie Leviner. She transitioned to be with our Lord and Savior on May 13th, 2026 at the Belvedere Center-Genesis Healthcare Facility.

Susie was raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, where she was educated in the Chester-Upland School System. She later attended Goldey-Beacon College. The popular majors were Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.

Susie worked at Crozer Hospital, in Chester for 15 years. She worked as a Transcriptionist. As time went on, she became the Supervisor over the department. After leaving Crozer Hospital, she went to work at Mercy-Douglas Hospital as a supervisor over the Transcription Department.

Susie worked there for 15 years, until they close down in 1973. After they closed down, Susie went to work at Misericordia Hospital for the next 28 years, still as a Supervisor. She made sure all the medical records were done and she had an excellent report with the Doctors, and medical records staff. She moved to medical records, when her hands when her hands began to give her problems. She retired from working in 2014.

Susie loved to travel and to dress.

Susie is predeceased in death by her parents, and her brother, Jessie Jr., and her sister Audrey L. Jackson.

Susie leaves to cherish her memory; her nephews Myran Jackson (Gail), John Jackson (Valerie), a niece Cynthia Jones, and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
