Today we celebrate the life of Shamecca Letitia Fisher born on August 14, 1973, in Queens N,Y. She was the first child of Gary and Helena Fisher. 

Shamecca transitioned from life to eternity on 10/15/2024 at Riddle Hospital in Pennsylvania. Shamecca always wanted a bigger house with space and to be closer to her grandchildren, so she left Queens, N,Y, for Pennsylvania in 2021. 

Throughout the years she worked at different home health aide agencies, she also eventually went back to what she had a passion for and that was being a home health aide, taking care of sick and elderly people. So, she found an agency in Pennsylvania called Honor Care. Shamecca was the true people’s person.

She was a loving mother of 5 children Dominique, Megan, Alexis, Emily and Gregory JR. One of her happiest moments was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She ALWAYS took the time with her children’s education and was happy to see the fruit of her labor had paid off with God help. Shamecca was a loving, kindhearted, caring and fashionable lady. Shamecca was a loving kindhearted, caring and fashionable lady. She was the true definition of “GUETTO FABOLOUS”. Shamecca loved to look our for everyone even if it took her out her way, she was our angel on earth.

Shamecca was 12 years old when she was baptized at Refuge Church of Christ in Far Rockaway, N,Y. God was her everything Reading her bible and playing gospel music was her thing, she would tell everyone “God is coming soon, get your life together and get closer to him”, or “ When God comes the sky will open up and there will be chaos that day”. Shamecca was a prayer warrior. She exemplified the phrase “One lord, One faith, One Baptism”.

During Shamecca’s past time she loved reading God’s word every day, love to cook, watching her life time movies, and watering her plants. She was the life of the party and the drama queen of the family with its of stories and jokes. There was never a dull moment once you wee in her presence. “Waddup son” “Wassup cuz” “Nah son” was her favorite slang. 

Pre-Deccased her younger brother Gary JR, uncles: John Lee Evans, Ray Hightower, and Charles Smith. Aunt Anbelle, her grandmother Liculle Fisher. She leaves to cherish her precious memories and keep her spirit alive, her four daughters Dominique, Megan, Alexis, Emily,. Her only son Gregory JR. Her grandchildren Joseph-Cassius, Anyla, De’Nico. Her parents are Gary and Helena Fisher. Her significant other Gregory Moore SR. One sister Shantage two brothers Derrick and Darius. Aunts: Barbara, Patricia, Barbara Ann and Uncle Brian. Her nieces: Sha’Asia, London, Talaya and Zion. Her nephews: Gary JR, Ganai, Roshawn, Shakai, Nasir, Sy Ari, and Jarius. In addition, she leaves a host of family members and dear friends.
