Sha'Qual Khyree Mercer

Sha'Qual Khyree Mercer was born on March 01, 1994 in Chester PA to mother Patrice Handy and father Milton Mercer. Shack or Prescott as he was called by his friends and family, Sha'Qual attended Chester Upland School District and graduated from glenn Mills School. He was employed at Wendy’s and also worked for Chester Housing Authority.

Sha'Qual was one of a kind. He will walk in your house to start an argument and all you could do is laugh cause shack played and joke all day that you couldn’t even get mad at him. No matter where he was or what he was doing he will take his shoes off and get comfortable. Shack favorite things to do was to help his family  out in anyway he can spend time with his son who he loved so much. He loved to go out and have fun. He loved to go to the casino  and gamble He loved to call his mom and prank call her and argue with his grandma, also last but not least go to the store to get his son a bag full of snacks.

On April 17, 2022, Sha'Qual departed this life at Crozer Hospital of Chester PA. We never prepared ourselves for such a loss but we can find comfort in the memories we share. Sha'Qual leaves to celebrate his life, parents Patrice Handy and Milton Mercer Sr (Trina), grandmother Joyce Bell and Stephanie Handy, 3 grandfathers Michael Bell, Milton Johnson, and Roger Purnsley. 5 brothers Kareem and Kaleem Handy Milton and Shamar Mercer and Paul Freeman. 6 Sister Kaneshia and Kaleshia Handy, Da Juana Raison, and Shatesha Sha Quana, Shamani Mercer. Son Sky’ree Davis. Best friend “Janera Handy” Girlfriend “GiGi” Godparents “Clarice and Edd Lawler”  A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins, predeceased by grandmother Lucy Ballard, brothers Ja’Quan Mercer and Hakeem Mercer.
