Santa A ("Santy") Echevarria

Santa Echevarria, best known to her family and friends as “ Santy”, passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2021. She was born and raised in Maunabo, Puerto Rico to her late parents, Santo Echevarria and Eudosia DeJesus on February 5, 1950.

Santy is survived by her two daughters, Carmen Montes and Janet Echevarria; 3 grandchildren, Anthony Rivera, Jailene and Anais Rodriguez; 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas Rivera.
She grew up in Maunabo, Puerto Rico with her siblings Antonio, Maximino, Luis (deceased), Marina, Carmen L., and Miriam Echevarria.

Santy was a homemaker for many years, and a very friendly and loving person. She would help her family and friends in any way possible. Her favorite hobbies were listening to music and caring for her many loving plants. Her plants were like her babies. She would care for them and talk to them everyday. She leaves behind many loving memories which will be cherished for many years to come.
