Rosalinda Sheila Driggins

Rosalinda Sheila Hunt-Driggins was born in Chester, PA on August 1, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Bonnie Mitchell (Robert) and of the late Inocencio Perez. On November 15, 2022, the Lord called his daughter Ros home.

She was educated at Immaculate Heart Catholic School before graduating from Chichester High School in 1971. In her adult life Ros was a stay-at-home mother before working as a nursing assistant at Prospect Park Nursing Home.

Ros married her lifelong love of 48 years, the late Karl Driggins, on October 6, 1997. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and dedicated friend. Ros loved to dance, liked to laugh and joke, enjoyed being with family and friends and absolutely loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rosalinda was predeceased by her parents Bonnie and Robert Mitchell and her biological father Inocencio Perez. She was also predeceased by a son, Karl Purnsley, a sister, Emma Torres and 2 brothers, Victor Perez and Inocencio Perez. Ros leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memories. Her children, Kevin Byrd, Jr. (Marthella) of DE, Shardae Byrd of PA, Radiya Byrd of PA, Karl Driggins, Jr. of PA, 24 grandchildren and 21 great – grandchildren. Siblings Norma Perez, Antoinette Alston, Rafael Perez, Lesa Alston, Angela Bobo, Jimmy Reviera, Ida Bell, Stephanie Jones and Lamont Wheeler. Brother-in-law Radiya Ali Bey (Elon Kamara), sister-in-law Rhea Driggins – Toy (Kevin) and mother-in-law Cleo Wray (Edward Berry, longtime friend). Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
