Rasheena K Hammond

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Rasheena K. Hammond, who left us too soon. Rasheena was born on June 7, 1980. Sheena was a beacon of light, love, and warmth to all who knew her. We know she is in “Hello Kitty Heaven.” Her daughter LaMikeca Cooper and best friend Michael Cooper had very special places in her heart.

Rasheena K. Hammond, 44, passed away on August 19, 2024, at home in Chester, Pennsylvania. Rasheena is the daughter of the late Annette C. Foreman and late Richard James Hammond, Sr.

Rasheena is survived by her daughter LaMikeca Cooper, god-child Jasmine Morales, grand-child A’siyah L. Morales, her sisters Regeena Hammond, Rakeena Hammond, and Sheila Wroten, brother Rasheme Jennings, bonus mother Rhonda Jennings, step-father Willie Foreman, god-mother Kay Grasty, and best friend Michael Cooper.

Sheena's life was a testament to kindness, strength, and resilience. She had an infectious smile that could brighten any room and a heart that embraced everyone she met. Whether through her generous spirit, her unyielding support for friends and family, Sheena touched countless lives in ways that will never be forgotten.

A mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Sheena’s presence was a source of comfort and joy. Her sudden departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire us all.

Sheena is survived by her loving family and many dear friends who will miss her deeply. Though our hearts are broken, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love she spread in her time with us.

As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate Sheena's life and the profound impact she had on each of us. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Sheena was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hardy, mother, Annette C. Foreman, father Richard James Hammond, Sr., and brother Richard James Hammond, Jr. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her surviving family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Sheena. You will be forever loved and missed.
