Priscilla, born on August 16, 1948, in Chester, PA, to James and Bertha May, was the youngest of three children. She was a loving sister to her late brother James Torrence and her "only sister," Margaret Weatherly. Priscilla excelled in her studies within the Chester-Upland school district, with a particular talent for English. Her natural gift for caring led her to a fulfilling career in nursing. She worked as a healthcare aide before becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse, passionately dedicating her skills to the seniors at White Horse Village lifecare facility.
Priscilla's faith was a cornerstone of her life; she was a woman who truly loved the Lord, consistently carving out time for her daily Bible devotionals. Beyond her faith, she found joy in playing pinochle and Scrabble, and as an avid reader with an extensive vocabulary, she delighted in using words that often stumped others. Priscilla deeply adored her two children, son Dane Wilson and daughter Anissa Murphy (Andrews), and nurtured unique and special bonds with each of her granddaughters: Tiana Reaves, Aja Andrews, Carli Abdullah and Taylor Reaves.
She is also survived by her son-in-law, Craig Murphy (Anissa); nieces, Renea Wilson-Powell (Garry) and Tania Haney (Duane); nephew, Amel Jones; brother-in-law, Preston Weatherly (Margaret); and great-grandsons, Breon Chambers and Carson Lundy. Priscilla will be deeply missed by a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and many dear friends.
