Peggy Ann Williams, also known as Lou Lou was born November 18, 1946 to Pauline Fisher and John Wayne Peterson in Chester, Pa at the old Chester hospital. Peggy was formally educated in Chester Public Schools. She was employed for many years at Delaware County Court House in Media, Pa. She was also employment with Stouffer’s Packing Company.
Peggy loved socializing with family and friends. She enjoyed music, and frequently went to Ethel Waters Park to listen to the “Oldies but Goodies. She was fondly known to family as the “Clean up Woman”. Those who loved and knew her best could often hear her hum and sing her favorite song, “Baby, Baby, Baby”. She was kind to kids and loved giving them candy and stuffed animals. Peggy was well known for her cat calling, she would yell to someone, “Hey------Baby” or might just say “Go home”.
She spent her time at home, watching “Gun Smoke, Wagon Train, Rifleman and other old westerns, while enjoying her favorite 7 up cake and ice cream. Peggy loved her family and they loved her, she will be greatly missed by them and her community at Edgemont, Gateway and Madison Apts.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Peggy Williams and four grand children, two sisters, Barbara Fisher Skinner, (Robert), Harriet Fisher and host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Fisher and John Wayne Peterson; Brothers Donald Thornton, John Thornton; sisters Elizabeth Fisher and Carol Harris.
