Paul Daniel Sutton Jr., affectionately known as Danny, was born on June 29th,1962 in Chester, PA to the late Paul Sutton Sr. and Doris Sutton-Copeland. Paul was the youngest out of three children. He was educated in the Chester Upland School District and graduated from Chester High School in 1980. Paul was known as the family comedian. He loved to crack jokes and make people laugh. Paul loved and supported his family. He was a devoted Cowboys football fan and loved to provoke other rival teams.
Paul was a member of the Chester High School Marching Band and participated in the Mother ́s Day Parade for several years. He also marched with The Little Mighty Warriors and was a member of the band called Chocolate Thunder. Paul was employed at Wallingford Nursing Home for several years, then became employed by Elwyn for over 20 years where he later retired. At an early age, Paul was a member of Range Temple C.O.G.I.C where he was in the youth choir, served as an usher and played the drums. He later joined the Temple of Prayer Church under the leadership of Pastor Florence Freeman, where he participated in the Men's Ministry and was the drummer in the Music Ministry. Paul was a faithful member until his illness three months ago. During that time, he came to church when he could.
Paul was preceded in death by two adopted sisters Pat Thurman and Theresa Freeman. He is survived by his two sisters Sheila “Bootsie” Sutton (Jacquelyn) and Lenita “Teedee” Sutton. Six nieces Malia Gibson (Kendon), Tierra White (Aaron), Jennifer, LaTeschia, and Regina Jones, and Terry Thurman. Two nephews Robert and Marquis Forney, seven great-nieces and six great-nephews. Four aunts Betty Sutton, Lois Flowers, Florence Freeman, and Henrietta Kearse. He leaves to cherish his god-son James “Tink” Smith, a special friend Robin Manire, a lifelong friend Darryl “Butter” Manuel as well as a host of family, church family, friends, and co-workers.
