Modesta Alicea

Modesta "Judy" Alicea, of Chester, PA, at 60 years of age sadly passed away on September 5, 2022, due to health complications. Judy was born on February 24, 1962, to Felix Alicea and Luisa Vazquez in Yabucoa Puerto Rico. Judy had many jobs throughout her life, but she would tell you her most fulfilling job started the day she became a mother. She loved her children, and embraced every frustrating, and happy moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. Judy was a kind, and caring person who always made everyone feel welcomed in her home, and life, but if you made her get upset than she'd tell you what you could do with yourself. Judy loved to dance to her merengue, and salsa. She loved to keep her mind active, and hands busy. You could always catch her doing her Diamond Painting sets, puzzles, or baking; unless it was Sunday when the only place you would find her would be in front of the television watching her favorite TV show "The Walking Dead". Judy was predeceased by her parents, and siblings: Felix Alicea, Luisa Vazquez, Felix Alicea Jr., Reina Alicea, Carmen Alicea, Purifica Alicea, Candido Alicea, and Melanio Alicea. She is survived by three of her siblings: Felicita Alicea, Susana Alicea, and Jesus Alicea. Her two children: Yolanda Cruz, and Roberto Pizarro. Her four grandchildren: Daniel Alexander Kephart, Angel Nicole Pizarro, Mya Alicea Pizarro, and Joell Roberto Pizarro. She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved unconditionally, and without reservation.
