Linwood Martin III

Linwood “Linnie” Martin III, 61 departed this life December 4/2021.

Linnie was born June 22, 1960 in Chester County , PA. He was the oldest of seven children. Linnie spent his early years in Kennett Square, PA moving to Chester, PA at the age of nine. He attended Frederick Douglass Middle school where he played football and basketball. He is a graduate of Chester High Scool’s C/O 1979.

Linnie enjoyed reading, collecting sports cards and comic books.

Linnie was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Martin, brother James D Martin, his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his son, Brandon M Pryor, father Linwood Martin Jr, grandmother Hilda Martin and five sisters, Mary L Martin, Stefanie(Gerald) Taylor, Patricia M Martin, Charlotte D Martin and Hope E Martin. He also leaves behind a special friend, Joann Foster and her family, Jenny, Brian, Ronald and Dylan who called him Pop-Pop. Also survived by four aunts, 2 uncles, 21 nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews and friends.
