Born to the Late Robert Merritt and Glory Deloris Henson

On Friday Jan 11, 2019 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Kenneth peacefully departed this life.

Kenneth was born and raised in Chester Pennsylvania. He was educated in the Chester Upland School District.

Kenneth’s life was witnessed by many he affected those that came in contact with him, in many ways, some of his ways of love and kindness included, but were not limited to helping to care for his Late Uncle Johnny and Late Aunt Margie.

Kenneth was a member of Calvary Baptist Church but later in life went to Tabernacle of Praise Worship Church under Pastor Snowden.

Kenneth had a warm sense of hospitality, and a witty personality if you knew him you would never forget him.

He was survived by and leaves to cherish his memory three brothers Marvin Merritt and Dondi Merritt one sister In Law Jamela Mohommad of North Carolina, special Aunt Thelma Green Miller, children Kenneth Maurice Merritt Jr., Omar Brynidsen Simmons, Shakyra S. Richards and Kachein E. Davis. Grandchildren Kyree S.M. Pringle, Terence W.A Pringle 3rd, Isaiah Thomas and Dejhana M. Davis, special aunt Thelma Green Miller a host of relatives and friends.
