Joyce Ann Bulluck

Life Story:

 Joyce Ann Bulluck was born on December 16, 1938 in Chester, Pa to the late Samuel Knox Sr. and Fannie Davis-Knox. Joyce was educated in the Chester Upland School District.

Joyce worked for Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Center in the housekeeping department. She also was employed by the University of Pennsylvania Hospital for 18 years as the Supervisor of Housekeeping. After 13 years of working at the Residence of Glenn Riddle, she retired as a Housekeeper and Laundry Assistant. Joyce enjoyed hunting, fishing, bus trips to Atlantic City, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

 On Wednesday, September 14, 2022 surrounded by her family in her home, God called Joyce home to her final resting place at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Sr., and Fannie Davis-Knox; her son Joseph Burton; husbands: Rudolph Burton Sr., and Zeb Bulluck; three (3) sisters: Katherine Young, Carolyn Knox and Patricia Brown; and her best friend, Gertrude Fitzgerald.

 To cherish her memory, she is survived by her children; Gloria Quail (James), Rudolph Burton Jr., (Cynthia), Michelle Dorsey (Christopher), and Carolyn Burton; one (1) god-daughter Ella Newman (Paul); her six (6) siblings; Lorretta Ricks, Diane Saunders, Samuel Jr., Bernice, Lawrence, and Doris Knox, 13 grand children, 15 great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
