Jose Droz-Bayona Obituary

On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones, Jose Enrique Droz Bayona (affectionately known as Rico, Pai, Papi and Abuelo) transitioned into eternal peace.
Rico, son of the late Leonides Bayona and Jose Droz Bayona, was born on March 7, 1941 in Manzanilla Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. He attended and completed his education in Puerto Rico as well. Rico relocated his family to Pennsylavania and Chester became their home. Rico was a provider for his family and worked as a; factory worker, construction worker and even as a landscaper.
Rico also enjoyed life. When he was not working he could be seen dancing, listening to music, or just enjoying the company of his family and friends. Baseball was his favorite sport with a particular love for the Phillies. However, Rico also enjoyed attending local baseball games and many times could be spotted at Chester Pirate games specifically.
Rico was preceded in death by his; sister (Lillian Droz), brothers (Jose, Tono and Israel Droz), daughters (Maria and Lillian Droz) and granddaughter (Lanita Tiller).
He leaves to continue his legacy and carry his memory; a loving wife and lifetime partner (Luisa Droz Alvarado), four daughters (Carmen, Maritza, Omayra and Mirna Droz), two sons (Jose and Angel Droz), three bonus daughters (Charney Morales-Strand, Lillian Rivera, and Jessica Rodriquez-Droz) two bonus sons (Walter Sudler and Jashanty Droz), ten sisters, nine brothers, over 40 grand and great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughtful words and expressions of love. There are
losses in life that penetrate deeper than others. The

losses in life that penetrate deeper than others. The loss of Rico included. We ask that you continue to pray for his wife and children as they learn to navigate this life without his physical presence.
With much love and appreciation, The Droz (Alvarado) Family
Bible Selection: Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
