Jay'onah Anyaeé Mason

Jay'onah Anyaeé Mason was born in Chester Pennsylvania on April 14, 2005. She was reared in the city of Folcroft Pennsylvania, Linwood Pennsylvania then moved to Charlotte North Carolina 2 years ago. Jayonah aka JAY JAY had a very funny, outgoing, bubbly personality. She loved cracking jokes on everyone and goofed around and loved saying her favorite word LIKEEEEE, it’s something that drove me crazy but I will truly miss. Jay jay was such a sweet heart so loving and caring and had such and old soul always playing her R&B music. She loved spending her time with her parents and siblings. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her best friends and her boyfriend. She enjoyed babysitting her best friend as she called her, her name is PAYTON whom she’s been babysitting since she was 4 months old. The bond between them was amazing they truly loved each other so much. She was a senior at Stewart creek high school and she would of graduated this January 2023. She had a way of showing anyone she loved how she felt thru arts and crafts or gifts she was always thoughtful and there was always a special meaning behind anything she did she was very special and will be truly missed by us all! Take this time to think about all the good times and amazing memories we all had with her. She would want us to celebrate her short lived life Instead of mourning her.
Jay Jay is survived by her mother Iris Santiago, her father William Mason Jr. Her siblings Diahmani, Anthony, Jeremiah and Isaiah. Her maternal grandmother (pre deceased) Sandra Viera her grandfather Roberto Santiago great grandmother Felícita Gonzalez, her grandfather Rafael Viera (pre deceased) and Alberto Gonzalez. Her great grandmother, Andrea Martinez and great grandfather Carmelo Antonio Santiago. Her paternal grandmother Judy Terry and her grandfather William Mason Sr. Her great grandmother Patricia Green her great grandfather William Green (pre deceased)  Her niece Nova Lynn Robinson (pre deceased) her aunts and uncles, Luis, Emmanuel, Vanessa, Roberto, Brenda, Matthew, Patricia, Candice. Her god mother Rosaira, her best friends Jhanni, Nykira and Payton. Her close friends Chris, Chanel and Chelsey and her Boyfriend Maj and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.
