Janet Hogue beloved wife of Ricky Hogue passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023 at the age of 54. Born on June 13, 1969, Janet was an adoring and affectionate Mother to her two sons, Danny Ray Burgos and Joshua Burgos (Naomi Burgos).  There was nothing Janet loved more than being an affectionate and nurturing Mom-Mom to her two beautiful granddaughters Alexandria and Phoenix Burgos.

Janet was preceded in death by her mother Gladys Ortiz Burgos. She is survived by her father Roque Felix Burgos Garcia and her stepmother Elba Burgos. Her Sisters Lizzette Stanton (Jeffrey L. Stanton), Luz Maria Burgos, Joanna Guyer (George Guyer), Yesenia Burgos, Miriam Burgos, Maritza Burgos, Maribel Burgos, Sandra Caraballo, her brothers Efrain Burgos and Felipe Ortiz and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
 

Thinking of you Sister
Although I’m sad without you
And wish that you were here,
Within my heart your lovely smile
Still shines bright and clear.

I treasure all those memories
Of growing up with you,
The secrets we would always share
The childish things we’d do.

And as the years passed quickly by
We grew closer still,
I miss you, dearest Sister,
And you know I always will.
 

Our beautiful sister Janet,

We are going to miss your comforting voice and our conversations catching up with one another. You will always be remembered for your irresistible laugh and immense love you had for the family.  You were always so passionate about your Eagles football team, we loved your enthusiasm for the games and enjoyed experiencing the game through your eyes. We shared the excitement when they won and the frustration when they lost. But no matter their score you were always loyal to your team just like you were always loyal to your family. You are our rock and we will love you forever.
