Hester Henry

Hester F. Henry was born on December 13, 1936 in Concordville, PA to Loney and Adelia Roberts. Hester was educated in the Concordville School District.

Hester worked for Sleighton Farms School in Glen Mills, PA as an associate in the juvenile department for many years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was well known for her sweet potato pies and potato salad. Hester also enjoyed relaxing and spending time with family and friends.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, God called Hester home to her final resting place at the age of 85. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Loney and Adeila Roberts, her son Theodore Hunter, her two daughters Janice “Sue” Dallam (Leon “Doc”) and Thomasa Henry; and her siblings, Florence Naylor, Arthur Roberts, Janice Gary, and Marion Roberts.

Hester leaves behind to cherish her memory children; Franklin Roberts (Gwen), Russell Roberts (Janice), Valerie Hales (Douglas), and Veronica “Wink” Henry. Three siblings, Irving Lawrence (Helen), Raymond Roberts, and Phyllis Anderson; 21 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Hester will be forever remembered in our hearts as a loving, kind and giving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
