Frederick Young

Frederick Eugene Young affectionately known as Freddy D was born on February 16,1959 and departed this life suddenly on March 09,2020 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.

Fred was educated in Chester Upland School District and spent most of his life in Chester Pa. Early on he drove box trucks as a profession and sports cars for leisure. Fred enjoyed being a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, Eagles, Sixers and Phillies. Playing all instruments especially guitar and drums was his passion along with fishing and dancing.

Fred loved to show out for his family and friends, He was always the life of the party. Fred took great pleasure in helping family, friends and neighbors with landscaping and home renovations. Ultimately Fred loved his sons and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Fred is survived by his love of many years Darlene Kelly, Sons Micheal McMillan(Carlene), Jermaine McMillan(Monique), Joseph McMillan(Lene’) Step Son Darrell McMillan, Sisters Patricia Collier(Micheal) Olivia Young, Audrey Wood(David), Delphine Green(Marvin) Anna Dawson Wood(Robert), Brothers Gary Washington(Mildred) and Darren Washington(Nicole)

And 8 grandchildren, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Neices, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and Loves ones who were dear to him.

Feed was predeceased by his Mother Valaida Washington, Father Eugene Mitchell, Son Frederick Young Jr, Sister Juanita Carter, Brothers Eugene Young, Fredrick Maultsby and Brain Washington.
