Freda Johnson Obituary

Freda E. Johnson was born on March 3rd, 1961, in Chester PA from the union of Fannie Long & Willie Thomas. Freda, also known as "cow Donya", had 15 siblings, leaving behind Kim Long and Patricia Holland.

Freda grew up in the city of Chester. She worked as a bar maid and for PennDOT. She gave birth to io children, having two sets of twins, and she was proud of each one of them. Freda loved having a fun time. She enjoyed playing pool, dancing, family dinners, making the best fried chicken, and playing cards. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and coloring. Freda always stood up for family and any friend that was in trouble. She would come running ready to "throw down" if needed. She loved to watch her favorite wrestler, Hulk Hogan in the wring doing his thing. Freda also loved herself some SpongeBob. Freda didn't attend church service, but she believed in God, thanking Him for His love, mercy, and daily bread.

Freda loved life and was a fighter but on December 12th, 2025, The Lord called Freda E. Johnson back home, and while holding her daughter's hand, took her last breath. Shortly after, her family encamped around her with tears of sorrow as they said their goodbyes. The family took comfort in knowing that Freda could finally stop fighting through her second battle with cancer and move on into glory, her final resting place.

She is survived by her children, Sheena, Darlene, Gene, Michael, Lamar, Jamar, Kirea, Brittany, Brandon, and Katrina. She also left behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. All whom she loved dearly and couldn't say enough about. She has been reunited with her parents, all but two siblings and a nephew, all of whom welcomed her with open arms. The family thanks you for all the love and support that has been shown to our loved one, Freda E. Johnson. May you continue to walk in love and peace.
