Edward McDaniel Obituary

In Loving Memory of

Edward J. McDaniel, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and more. He entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne PA. Edward was 41 years old.

Born January 24, 1984, to the late Daisy A. McDaniel and Eddie J. Richardson. He is survived by his stepfather, James McDaniel. Edward was the light of his parent’s life from birth, frequently regarded as his mother’s “Joy Boy”. His paternal grandmother, the late Olivia “Honey” Richardson, made him the star of her life, and showered him with love and affection until she entered her eternal rest. Edward was born in Newark, Nj., the youngest of six children. Through life challenges and family support, he was able to overcome many things meant to break him. His resilience, strength and genuine heart will echo beyond the years that remain. Edward was a generous and kind spirit, who loved laughing, traveling, music and experiencing all the many joys of life. Edward also had a passion for sports, especially watching wrestling, and would frequent live matches and entertainment every chance he could. He never let his circumstances prevent him from living his life to the fullest. His wife, Kristal Hall-McDaniel, who he adored and shared a childhood love story with; a very special one to add, that they both got to live out and enjoy together. One that she will continue to cherish deep in her heart, and carry forever with her, in this life and the next. He was truly her world, and she will never forget her Poppa Bear and the love they shared or the life they built together.

Edward was the proud father of his only biological child, Denelle Jordan, as well as a proud stepfather to Khi’Jhane Hall. Edward doted on his girls any chance he could, and found comfort in being present and making up for lost time. In addition to his wife and children, Edward is survived by his siblings; Shelia Jones (Cameron), Benjamin Cameron (Tanya Cameron), Mary Frisby (Nasir Frisby), and Dassette Cameron (Darrin Melton). His loving sister Leslie Cameron predeceased him. His first nieces, Dazina Cameron-Satchell (James Satchell Jr.), Davisia Keen (Zachary Keen), Dazhane Cameron, Dashawna Whitney (El Whitney) Daisy Butcher, Dezheona Butcher, Bianca Cameron, and two nieces who predeceased him, Da’Zsujuanah Cameron & Danasia Galmore. Floyd Jr., Benjamin Cameron III, Dahzir Cameron, Kayonne Baxter, Isaiah Cameron, Rashod Chappell a host of great nieces and nephews, and even a great-great niece and nephew pending for later this year. A special mention of his nephew in love and BFF, Bri’Lynn Looper who shared his love of wrestling and music, and would spend time with him every chance he could.

The legacy Edward left behind will always regard him as an unselfish gentle giant, who was the fun uncle who you could be yourself around without judgement. Edward loved spending time with family, especially his nieces, nephews, beloved siblings and their spouses. Edward cherished the time, as well as developing an unbreakable bond after reconnecting with his twin and beautiful daughter Denelle. Although, Edward’s life was short lived, his impact on his family and loved ones will live on forever. Edward was a light that effortlessly illuminated through out our family. His presence will truly be missed.
