Dexter Cettel Saunders

Dexter Cettel Saunders Sr., 42, Born in Philadelphia, PA, was a resident of Delaware County, PA, passed at home on Monday March 14, 2022. Dexter was a proud husband and father of four boys. He worked as a general contractor and roofer for 20 plus years. In his free time, he loved going fishing, camping, hunting, kayaking and exploring the outdoors. He enjoyed learning and teaching his children about survival skills and had a habit of rescuing wildlife. Dexter loved spending time with his family and taught them everything he knew. He spent all the time he could with his wife, his high school sweetheart, and loved to make her happy, there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Dexter was very artistic and picked up a hobby of tattooing. He was always willing to accept a challenge and was determined to never give up. Life with Dexter was always on the go and never a dull moment. He was very sociable and outgoing, it seemed like everywhere he went, there was always someone who knew him. He was predeceased by his father Lon Cettel, mother Madge Elizabeth (Saunders) Miller, and step father William Matthew Miller. Survived by his wife Dawn L. (Radewonuk) Saunders, their 4 sons Anthony M. Radewonuk, Dexter C. Saunders II, Julius C. Saunders and Tyler M. Saunders, Sister Amanda L. Saunders, Amber L. Miller, Lisa Drulyk, Amber McPartland, nieces and nephews, and Father figure George Sisco. Funeral Services will be held at Lewis M. Hunt-Irving Funeral Home 2316 Providence Ave., Chester, PA 19013 610-872-2500: Viewing will be held 9-11am, service at 11am, followed by burial at Eastlawn Cemetery 7th & Girard Ave, Swarthmore, PA. Memorial donations may be made to the family at time and location of service.
