Daniel Eugene Brice

Daniel E. Brice, 70, of Chester, Pa made a peaceful transition surrounded by family on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Daniel was born in Cornelius North Carolina On August 9, 1952, to the late Harry (Jackson)Brice Sr. and his wife Annie Frances (Clark)Brice.

He attended Chester Public Schools and graduated from Chester High School in 1970. He Enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to serve our country. During his years Daniel held down several jobs. PQ Industries, University of Delaware,  and a Supervisor at American Service Corporation.

Daniel enjoyed attending Sunday Service at Christ Temple of Love where he was a member and served as a Deacon to Pastor Charles Brice.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved attending family gatherings. Daniel enjoyed going fishing and if he wasn’t fishing he was on that road taking mini vacations to various beaches. Daniel was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan who loved talking trash to the opponent team’s fans. He was a well-loved father who loved his children. He was a jokester and loved to try his moves out on any dance floor that he came across.

Daniel is predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Harry Brice Jr., and Marvin Brice; three sisters, Little Annie Brice, Frances “Kitty” Brice, and Peggy Germany; two brothers-in-law, Mailion Smith Sr., and David Buckner; his late stepsons, Tyrone Strickland.

To celebrate his legacy of life Danny leaves behind his wife LaVonne Brice; daughters Della Kirksey, and Neveaha Brice and stepdaughter Kim Strickland; sons, Duane Thomas, and Peter Graham(Kenyatta)

 and stepsons Jamal Strickland, Jerome Strickland and Kevin Strickland; three sisters Dianna L. Smith, Maola Buckner, and Vera Cleveland(Arthur); two brothers, Pastor Charles Brice (Tracy) and John Brice 
Alice); he also has three aunts residing in New York, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and too many nieces, nephews and cousins that he dearly loved to mentioned; and a very special friend Francina “Darcel” Rothwell.
