Anthony Kurtis Holland also known as "Tony Kurtis", "Ant Man", and "World", was born to Waymond Beacher and Lucille Burwell Holland on July 3, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Anthony was educated in the Philadelphia School System. He attended Penn State University in State College, PA, where he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Pierce College in Philadelphia, PA graduating with a BA degree; then attended Wilford Beauty Academy where he was a student, teacher, and registrar.
He was an avid basketball player, craftsman wood carver, and an excellent cosmetologist. Anthony was employed at many establishments, namely Philco-Ford, Philadelphia Housing Authority, and Express Park Airport Parking in Essington, PA from which he retired.
Anthony was a gentle giant that loved to laugh and have fun, tell you nicely what is and what shouldn't be and then prophesy to you all in the name of love.
Anthony was blessed with two sons Anthony "Tony" Kurtis Holland II and Jeremy Kurtis Holland. Anthony was introduced to the love of his life, Michelle L. Gard​ner by Lynell Thompson. Tony and Lynn were joined in Holy Matrimony in September 1990 and he was blessed with his only daughter Camia Gardner Robinson.
Anthony was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lucille Holland and leaves to cherish his wonderful memory: father Waymond B. Holland, wife Michelle Gardner Holland, sons Anthony K. "Tony" Holland II and Jeremy K. Holland; daughter Camia Gardner Robinson (Corey); grandchildren Cori Robinson, Zanasiah Gary, and Marlo Marie Holland; great-grandchildren: Ava, A'Mia, A'Mari, and Amir; brother Waymond B. Holland, Jr. (Angela) Stafford, VA; sisters Veronica Holland Philyaw and Sheila Holland Adams Philadelphia, PA. and Lisa Holland, Chester, PA and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
