Annette C. Foreman, age 64, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, at Taylor Hospital near Chester, PA. Born on March 7, 1960, at Chester Medical Center to Eleanore Reevely, Annette lived a life full of love, dedication, and hard work.
Annette grew up in Chester, where she developed a deep love for her community. Her childhood was filled with joyful memories of playing with friends and helping her mother around the house. These early experiences shaped Annette's strong work ethic and her unwavering commitment to her family and friends.
Annette is survived by her husband Willie Foreman, two wonderful daughters, Regeena Hammond and Rasheena Hammond, and one grandchild Lamikeca Cooper. Annette was a devoted mother who instilled in her children the values of hard work, kindness, and perseverance. Her children remember her as a loving and supportive mother who was always there for them, no matter the circumstances.
Annette found great joy in her work at Widener keeping the campus spotless. She was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her tireless dedication. She also had a passion for cooking, often spending hours in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Her home was a place of warmth and hospitality, where everyone felt welcome.
In addition to her immediate family, Annette also cherished her close friendship with Kay Grasty, who was like a sister to her.
Annette's life was marked by her generosity and her willingness to help others. She was actively involved in her community and was known for her kindness and her ability to lift the spirits of those around her. Her cheerful demeanor and infectious smile brought joy to everyone she met.
Annette was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Eleanore Reevely, her sister, Carmen Freeman, and her brother, Chester Artist Andrew Turner. Despite these losses, and a challenging life Annette remained a pillar of strength for her family, demonstrating remarkable resilience and courage.
The family extends special thanks to Nurse Debbie Gane for her compassionate care of Annette during her final days.
Annette was a fighter, brave and strong throughout her life. Now she has found peace, free from suffering. Her legacy of love, hard work, and resilience will continue to inspire those who knew her.
