Webster Chandler Obituary

Webster Moses Chandler Jr was born December 28,1931 to the late Ida Thornton and Moses Chandler. Webster was born in Morton PA and after the passing of his mother at a early age, he was raised by his loving aunt and uncle who he referred to as “Mom & Pop”. Webster was educated within Longside New Jersey school district. Webster join the army in the 1951 at the age of 20 and retired in 1972 after serving in the Korean War. After retiring from the army, Webster in his family relocated to Chester PA. While residing in Chester PA, Webster worked many jobs, but he was most proud of being a crossing guard. Besides spending time with his family, Webster was an all around Philadelphia sports fan in enjoyed watching TV along with Saturday morning cartoons. In 1957 Webster married Gloria Singleton and from that union they have three children he also was the father of Sophia Sule, Who resides in Shumar, France. Webster worth proceeding to his death by his wife Gloria Chandler and his step mother Tabittha Chandler, sister Florence Griffith and three Brothers Bishop James Harrison,Oile Thornton and Lonnie Chandler Sr. Webster was a primary caregiver to his father Moses Chandler who he was affectionately referred to as DOC. Webster leaves to cherish his memory his four children Desiree Price,Sophie Sule(Abdullahi) Robert Chandler(Juvetta) and Crystal Chandler Powell(Norman Sr), 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren, along with the host of nieces and nephews into special friend Sabrina and Bryan.
