Scott was born June 1, 1962, In Drexel Hill, Pa. He was visually impaired from birth. However, it did not prevent him from getting a public school education and graduating with honors form Upper Darby High School in 1981. As a boy, he liked going to Phillies games. Scott’s passion for baseball led him to wanting to play Little League Baseball. Rejected by AA due to being visually impaired, Scott along with his parents fought in court and won for Scott to play baseball.
Scott started working at the young age of six helping his father in the food service business. After graduating from computer school, Scott began his life long career in computer programming. As a single father, he was devoted to his two children, giving them a home filled with love and happiness.
In 2007 Scott married Beth and made their home in Upper Darby, Pa. In 2013, they welcomed their grandson Sam into their home were he would be nurtured in a loving and caring environment. Scott was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, but the thing that gave him the most pleasure was family. He felt strongly that family comes first. Scott had special gift of bring humor unto those around him. His family and friends will cherish their memories of his compassion to help those that called on him for guidance and support.
