Nicole Dodson

Nicole (nikki) Denise Dodson 
Deceased on December 30th, 2018 and lived to see a fulfilling 42 years. Born in Chester pa on April 18 1976. Nicole was the first child Patricia Dodson and Orlando Samuel and beloved mother of 3. 
Nicole, having her 3 children by the age of 23, was an exceptionally hard worker being as a nurse by day and a bartender by night (Chester Gold Room). With all her responsibilities She still was the life of any party. 

When her health began to decline she transitioned into being the best stay at home mom a kid can ask for. She love hosting events (birthday parties , holidays , cookouts) especially block parties and Easter egg hunts for Margate rd. She went above and beyond just to see a smile on someone face. She was very big on family and she made sure we all felt her love, especially through her cooking. Nicole treated the neighborhood kids as if they were her own, always making sure they felt welcome. Her home became safe haven where all were equal. She loved so hard and always saw the good in any person.
She always said “if you want to do something then do it , because you never know until you try”. Her favorite hobby’s were arts and crafts , clothing design, cooking, and of course she loved a good debate(any topic). She was a wiz at cards and loved to play spades when the family came to visit. It was really the small things that seemed to make her happy . 
The night before she passed, she got to have the day she always wanted with her kids. They had family pictures taken and went out to eat for an Italian dinner. Although they didn’t know it would be their last day together, we couldn’t have asked for better ending to amazing life story. Loving family, lasting memories and delightful meal including lobster ravioli. 
She is survived by her children  Thalea, Tyheim , and Ashanti Dodson; her sister Natasha Pryor and niece Imani Thomas. Along with many loving cousins, friends and family. Some of the closest being...
