Josie Ann Thomas

Celebration of Life for 

Josie Ann Peoples-Thomas 70, Chester Pa.  passed away surrounded by her family on June 19, 2018.

Josie was born on March 5, 1948 in Chester PA., to the late Leola Robinson Peoples and Mitchell Irving.  She was the Granddaughter of the late Aimme & Annie McCall Robinson, niece of the late Ethel Parham, Rosabell & Erson Robinson.  Mother in law to the late Anthony Butler-Green and Grandmother to the late Krystal Thomas.

She lived most of her life in Chester Pa.  She was educated in the Chester Upland School District and was a graduate of Delcite School of Business.

She fulfilled her duties as a nurse technician working in several nursing facilities throughout the communities, Bell Atlantic & United States Census Bureau until her health declined.  

She attended Murphy AME church at an early age.  She enjoyed entertaining family and friends with her infamous cookouts, shopping and solving Logic Problems.

Josie leaves to cherish her memories:  Children, Kevin Thomas, Nicole Thomas, Shawn Thomas, Kia Thomas-Green, a host of grandchildren and great grands.  A special granddaughter Shauniqua Johnson.  Siblings: Dr Napoleon Peoples (Zanobia) and Barbara Richards.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins.  A special niece Kwanda Richards.
